Travertine Decor
Travertine is a natural limestone formed around mineral springs. Its small pits, soft veining and warm cream tones all come from that process. Our travertine decor is carved and hand-finished from solid stone, so no two pieces look exactly alike.
The collection includes candlestick holders in three sizes, round and square trays, a 4-inch sphere, napkin rings, a plate, an ashtray and bookends, plus two travertine side tables. Use a tray on a coffee table, vanity or entry console, group the candle holders down a dining table, or mix the smaller pieces with wood and linen for a warm, layered look. For more styling pieces, see our coffee table decor.
FAQ
What is travertine?
Travertine is a type of limestone that forms around mineral springs. As the stone forms, gas bubbles leave small holes and pits on the surface. Its color ranges from cream to warm beige, with soft veining running through it.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
No two pieces are identical. Color, veining and the pattern of small pits vary from stone to stone, so yours will have its own character.
How do I care for travertine decor?
Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and dry it afterward. Travertine is porous, so wipe up spills quickly and avoid acidic or harsh cleaners like vinegar, lemon or bleach.
Where can I use a travertine tray?
It works on a coffee table for candles and books, on a vanity or bathroom counter for soaps and perfume, or by the door for keys and sunglasses. If it gets wet, wipe it dry.
Do travertine pieces make good gifts?
Yes. Our candlestick holders, napkin rings and round tray come in a recyclable white gift box.
