For a dining table, kitchen island or stairwell, start with our pendant lights, including the handmade Linen Round Pendant Light. For side tables, consoles and nightstands, browse Table Lamps, from the round Caserta to the taller Jasper. To light a wall or a hallway, see Sconces & Wall Lights, and for a reading corner, Floor Lamps. For larger rooms, see Chandeliers, or browse the calm, natural look of Japandi Lighting.
FAQ
How do I layer lighting in a room?
Use three kinds: a ceiling light or pendant for general light, table and floor lamps at eye level for a warm glow in the evening, and a picture light or sconce to highlight a wall. Most rooms feel best with at least three light sources at different heights.
What bulb should I use with a linen shade?
A warm white bulb, around 2700K, keeps linen looking soft and golden. Check each product page for the socket type and maximum wattage.
How tall should a table lamp be?
Next to a sofa or bed, the bottom of the shade should sit roughly at eye level when you're seated, which for most tables means a lamp around 24 to 30 inches tall.
