The frame is built from solid reclaimed elm beams. The grain is open and deeply textured, with knots, small checks and old tool marks left in the wood. The tone is a warm, sun-faded natural that pairs easily with linen bedding and woven rugs.
Four square block legs rise flush with the top of the rails, so each corner reads as one solid post. Inside the frame, wide elm slats support the mattress directly, so no box spring is needed. At about 14 inches high it sits low to the floor, which keeps the room feeling open and calm.
Reclaimed timber carries small cracks, open grain and changes in tone across the surface. Every bed is a little different, and those marks are part of its character.
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills with a slightly damp cloth and dry right away. Avoid harsh cleaners and long hours of direct sun.
