The contrast is what makes it. The front and sides are painted black and rubbed back by hand, so the elm grain shows through in pale streaks along every edge, while the top is left in its natural, sandy tone. Solid side panels run straight down to the floor, giving it a simple, blocky silhouette that feels both rustic and modern.
Four drawers with small iron ring pulls hold remotes, chargers and everyday clutter, and the open shelf below takes baskets, books or a media box. At 63 inches long and 19.75 inches high, it works as a low TV stand, a console under a window or art, or a bench-height piece in an entry or at the foot of a bed.
Reclaimed timber carries small cracks, open grain and changes in tone across the surface. Every piece is a little different, and those marks are part of its character.
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills with a slightly damp cloth and dry right away. Use coasters, and avoid harsh cleaners and long hours of direct sun.
