Media Consoles for Large TVs
A media console should be a few inches wider than the screen it holds. For a 75-inch TV, that means about 66 inches or more. For an 85-inch TV, aim for about 75 inches or more. Every piece here is 70 to 87 inches long, in reclaimed elm, mango, pine and acacia, some with rattan doors, and with drawers and cabinets that keep cables and remotes out of sight. For smaller screens, see our full collection of TV stands & media consoles.
FAQ
What size TV stand do I need for an 85-inch TV?
An 85-inch TV is about 74 inches wide, so look for a console of 75 inches or longer. The Six Door Elm Sideboard (87"), Three Drawer Elm Sideboard (82.5") and Six Door Elm Media Console (79") all fit.
What size TV stand do I need for a 75-inch TV?
A 75-inch TV is about 65 inches wide, so anything from 70 inches up gives it room. The Beth Media Console, Felix Low Sideboard and Grier Sideboard are good fits.
How tall should a TV stand be?
Seated eye level is about 40 to 42 inches off the floor, so a lower console keeps a large screen comfortable to watch. Our media consoles sit 15 to 27.5 inches high. The sideboards here are 32 to 34 inches, which works well with the TV mounted on the wall above.
Can I use a sideboard as a TV stand?
Yes. A long sideboard gives you more storage than most TV stands. Check that the top is deep enough for the TV's base, or mount the TV on the wall above it.
What are these pieces made of?
Most are reclaimed elm. Others are mango, reclaimed pine or acacia, and a few have rattan door panels. Each product page lists the exact materials and finish.
