Senufo Coffee Tables & Stools
The Senufo people of Côte d'Ivoire, Mali and Burkina Faso traditionally carved their stools and benches from a single piece of wood, low to the ground with short, sturdy legs. Our pieces keep that low shape in solid elm: the Elm Senufo Coffee Table at 71 inches long, a lower coffee table, and stools in two sizes, one of them in black. For more in the same wood, see our solid elm wood furniture.
FAQ
What is a Senufo coffee table?
A long, low table based on the Senufo bench from West Africa. It sits lower than most coffee tables and has a thick top on short legs.
What are these pieces made from?
Solid elm. Each piece shows the grain, knots and color changes of the wood, so no two look exactly alike.
How big is the Elm Senufo Coffee Table?
It is 71 inches long. Full dimensions for every piece are on the product pages.
Can I use a Senufo stool as a side table?
Yes. The small stools are a common side table next to a sofa or bed, and they work as extra seating too.
What if a stool is sold out?
The Black Senufo Elm Stool Small is made to order. For the other stools, call us at (786) 998-9614 to ask about the next batch.
