Wood Coffee Tables
Wood brings more to a coffee table than any other material: grain, warmth and a surface that only gets better with use. This is every wood coffee table we carry, in five timbers. Elm is our signature, mostly reclaimed, with open grain and knots. Oak has a tighter, straighter grain and comes in round and rectangular shapes. The Celia is reclaimed teak, the Bela is reclaimed pine and the Dalia is acacia in a black finish. Looking for a particular size or style? FAQ
What's the best wood for a coffee table?
Hardwoods like elm, oak and teak hold up best to daily use and resist dents. Pine is softer and marks sooner, which suits a relaxed, rustic look.
What's the difference between elm and oak?
Elm has a wide, wavy grain with knots and color changes, so it reads warmer and more rustic. Oak has a straighter, tighter grain and looks a little more refined.
Should I choose a round or a rectangular coffee table?
Round tables suit smaller rooms, sectionals and tight walkways, and ours run 31.5 to 43 inches across. Rectangular tables suit long sofas, and ours go up to 71 inches.
How do I care for a wood coffee table?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth, wipe spills right away, use coasters and trivets, and keep it out of long periods of direct sun.
Will my table look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Every piece has its own grain, knots and tone, especially the reclaimed ones.
