Made to Be Lived With
Natural Materials, Thoughtful Craft
Reclaimed pine has a softness that new wood takes decades to earn. The grain on this console has been opened up by time. Knots sit darker against the warm brown finish, and the tone shifts slightly from one end of the top to the other. It reads less like a piece of furniture and more like something that was always part of the house.
The proportions are long and quiet. At 86" wide and only 18.5" deep, it stretches across a wall without stepping into the room, which is why it works so well in a hallway, along a dining room wall or beneath a large piece of art. Two drawers tuck under the top, finished with bronze cup pulls that catch the light against the darker wood. Below, an open shelf runs the full length. Style it with woven baskets, a stack of oversized books or a row of ceramic vessels, and let the empty space between them do some of the work.
Pair it with a linen-shaded lamp at one end and something sculptural at the other, and the table becomes the anchor of the room. Because the pine is reclaimed, every piece carries its own variation in grain, color and surface character.

Caring for solid wood
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wipe up spills right away and dry the surface fully.
- Use coasters and placemats under hot, cold or wet items.
- Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads.
- Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and away from heaters and air vents.
Solid wood moves with changes in humidity, so small shifts in grain and color over time are part of its character.
