Made to Be Lived With
Natural Materials, Thoughtful Craft
The Black Six Drawer Elm Cabinet is all drawers: six of them, set in two rows of three, each with a framed panel front and a small iron ring pull. There are no doors, so everything inside is easy to reach and easy to sort.
The reclaimed elm is finished in black and worn back hard along the edges, corners and drawer fronts, so warm brown wood shows through in patches and streaks. Up close it reads as an old piece that has been used every day. From across the room it is a strong, dark shape that grounds a light wall.
At 63 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep and 33.5 inches high, it fits a wide entryway, a dining room wall or the foot of a bed. Use the drawers for keys and mail by the door, linens and napkins in the dining room, or sweaters in the bedroom. Because the elm is reclaimed, the depth of the black and the pattern of wear differ from piece to piece.
Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills with a slightly damp cloth and dry right away. Use coasters under drinks and vases, and avoid harsh cleaners and long hours of direct sun.
Material: Reclaimed Elm Wood
Origin: Northern Regions of China
Color: Black

Caring for solid wood
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wipe up spills right away and dry the surface fully.
- Use coasters and placemats under hot, cold or wet items.
- Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads.
- Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and away from heaters and air vents.
Solid wood moves with changes in humidity, so small shifts in grain and color over time are part of its character.
