Made to Be Lived With
Natural Materials, Thoughtful Craft
A long, low cabinet in reclaimed elm, finished in a pale, weathered natural tone that lets the wood's history show. The grain runs open across the top, knots and small marks sit quietly in the surface, and each board shifts a little in color from the next.
The four doors are faced with a grid of raised wooden battens, and the long vertical battens at the center of each pair work as the handles, so no metal hardware breaks up the wood. It gives the front a hand-built, architectural texture that reads beautifully from across a room.
Behind the doors, shelves hold dinnerware, linens, games or media equipment. At 90.5 inches wide and 17.5 inches deep, it stretches along a long dining room wall as a buffet, sits under a large TV as a media console, or grounds a living room wall with a lamp, a stack of books and a branch in a stoneware pot. Because the elm is reclaimed, no two cabinets match exactly.

Caring for solid wood
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wipe up spills right away and dry the surface fully.
- Use coasters and placemats under hot, cold or wet items.
- Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads.
- Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and away from heaters and air vents.
Solid wood moves with changes in humidity, so small shifts in grain and color over time are part of its character.
