Reclaimed Wood Furniture
Every piece here is made from reclaimed wood, timber that had a first life before it became furniture. Most of our range is reclaimed elm from northern China, with pieces in reclaimed pine, oak and teak. Because the wood has already aged, each piece carries its own knots, color shifts and grain, so no two are identical. Shop by type in reclaimed wood console tables, reclaimed wood coffee tables, rustic sideboards and solid wood sideboards. Shop by wood in elm furniture, elm coffee tables and reclaimed pine furniture.
FAQ
What is reclaimed wood furniture?
It's furniture built from wood that was used before, often in old buildings and structures, instead of freshly cut timber. The wood has already aged, which gives it a depth of color and texture that new wood doesn't have.
Is reclaimed wood furniture sustainable?
It reuses timber that already exists instead of cutting new trees, which is why many people choose it.
Does reclaimed wood have cracks or knots?
Yes, and that's expected. Small checks, open knots and color variation come from the wood's history, and they don't affect its strength.
What's the difference between reclaimed and rustic furniture?
Reclaimed describes the material: wood with a previous life. Rustic describes a look: rough, natural and lived-in. Many reclaimed pieces look rustic, but some of ours are quite refined. For the look, see rustic furniture.
